C Change Creativity Collaborative
Here at Our Lady of Pity RC Primary School, we have a strong commitment to creative thinking and practices in our curriculum. It underpins the work we do, supporting children to achieve better outcomes.
We are proud to be part of the C Change Creativity Collaborative.
Working with 10 other schools across Cheshire, Wirral and Liverpool, we are exploring innovative approaches for teaching for creativity.
Over the next three years, our primary research question will be:
How do creative pedagogies contribute to the experience of education for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds?
Lines of enquiry to explore the primary research question:
-
What are the conditions needed to foster a culture of curiosity & creativity within and across schools?
-
What pedagogies effectively cultivate creative thinking across the curriculum and in particular for DA pupils?
-
What strategies support effective cultural and creative partnerships for schools, communities and young people?
Each class will be using the HFCMAT Habits of learning wheel and supporting documentation to promote, model and develop children's collaborative, inquisitive, persistent, imaginative and disciplined learning habits.
